History

SFOB (Société de Fabrication d’Outillages de la Brie) was founded in the late sixties, by Léopold SERCER, with the aim of supplying the car industry with cold forging tools

The quality of its production being quickly known and fast rise that SFOB knew, emerged in 1978 on the creation of the Société des Etablissements SERCER (SES) in Jouy le Moutier (95).

Initially specialized in the manufacturing of simple parts (cylindrical bars, ejectors, with conical head etc...) SES’ products quickly got complex and diversified in order to answer an increasing request of the customers’ requirements in term of quality, costs and delivery times.

1981
Installation in the old train station’s buildings in Roye sur Matz (60).
1985
Construction of the first building (500 m² covered).
1990
Construction of a second section thus doubling total surface.
1995
Repurchase of the whole of the group’s companies by Mr. J.D. SEGUIER and the management.
1997
Installation of an annex room for raw materials’ storage and flow.
2001
Obtaining certification ISO 9001 v2000.
2006
Repurchase of SES by Mr. V. DUFOURG and the management.
2009
Merger with SFOB / Move to Lagny sur Marne in larger and more functional premises
